Halloween Pumpkin Workout

Welcome to our pumpkin workout! I thought I would introduce a new themed workout to you every month that you can all do at home. Everyone at all of our 5 Star Boot Camps locations will be doing this exact workout at some point through out October to make Halloween that little bit more fun!

This months workout is all about Halloween, how could it not ? All you need is a pumpkin which you can get from your local supermarket for a little as a couple of quid and a little bit of space. Tesco and Asda seem to have the cheapest pumpkins but make sure it is pretty solid as some of the exercises may require you to rest your body weight on the pumpkin. I like to workout outdoors in the fresh air but you could do this in your living room. I used the Halloween themed workout track ‘Pumpkin Workout Routine‘ which you can download from Boot Camp Download and put straight on to your iPod or iPhone.

The workout consists of 6 exercises with 45 seconds hard work and 15 seconds rest.

The 6 exercises are LUNGES HOLDING YOUR PUMPKIN, OVERHEAD SWING WITH PUMPKIN, PUSH PRESS WITH PUMPKIN, PRESS UP PLANK ON PUMPKIN, BURPEES ON PUMPKIN & PRESS UPS ON PUMPKIN. Then have 1 minutes rest. Repeat 3 more times!
